Focused on market demands in the health industry, the Yichang Key Laboratory of Functional Health Food Ingredients by Magic Health adopts independent R&D and industry-university-research collaborative innovation to focus on core technological breakthroughs and industrial application, conducting basic and applied fundamental research. Its research directions include: development of key technologies for functional health food ingredients, development of key technologies for personal care and medical aesthetic ingredients, optimization of separation and purification technologies for life health ingredients, and development of application technologies for life health ingredients.
The laboratory will carry out industry-university-research cooperation with five universities and research institutions, including Three Gorges University, Zhejiang University of Technology, East China University of Science and Technology, Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering (Chinese Academy of Sciences), and Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (Chinese Academy of Sciences). It will tackle key technologies related to vitamin K2, phosphatidylserine, etc., develop new products, and apply them to multiple fields such as nutrition and health, personal care and medical aesthetics, and functional foods.
Magic Health will continue to increase R&D investment, strengthen standardized management, promote the construction of the municipal key laboratory with high standards, continuously enhance scientific and technological innovation capabilities, and maintain high-quality development.
